Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the sales and order fulfilment activity by providing a seamless customer experience

Essential Functions:

• Perform all essential duties and execute sales plans assigned by Branch General Manager, to achieve revenue and profit goals for assigned customers
• Build and maintain productive customer relationships to quickly and effectively solve customer problems
• Accurately process customer orders and make outbound calls to customers to fill trucks
• Partner and support outside sales team to provide seamless, loyalty building customer service
• Actively probe to uncover customer needs and offers appropriate product recommendations
• Stay current on issues affecting our business, industry, and the global product supply chain
• Ability to provide product knowledge across a broad range of product categories

Requirements:

• Proven track record and knowledge of sales and customer service in wholesale distribution (preferred), minimum of 2 years of experience
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal coworkers and customers
• Associates degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Strong problem solving, negotiation and sales skills
• Results-driven and goal-oriented
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
• Problem solver, able to quickly solve issues, and offer improvement ideas
• Manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Regular and punctual attendance and ability to work weekends and holidays when necessary
• Valid Driver's License & acceptable driving record
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, crouch, kneel, and push and pull
• Requires ordinary conversation, hearing, and visual acuity
