Account Manager

JOB SUMMARY
Sell and manage HVAC System service contracts and retrofit projects for end-user and property management customers. 

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Marketing/sales
• Customer development and retention
• Estimating and budgeting
• Written proposals
• Planning and scheduling
• Cost control
• Ensuring quality and performance
• Timely invoices of all work completed to date and conscientious follow-up on collection of money due to ensure positive cash flow
• Supervision of field crews
• Safety awareness, training, promotion
• Warranty administration

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC or services-related sales
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• High school diploma or GED

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• HVAC Service experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• HVAC sales and presentation experience

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS

• Work involves moderate exposure to elements, such as hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises.
• The work environment involves some exposure to construction, mechanical, and electrical-related hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
• Moderate physical effort. Requires handling of average weight objects up to 50 pounds and extensive standing and walking.
• Work requires local and occasional out-of-town travel to job sites and customer locations.
• Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and scaffolds, and to negotiate work areas under construction.
