We're looking for a friendly and customer-focused Customer Renewal Advisor to join our successful Commercial Schemes team, supporting our specialist landlord insurance brand, Protect My Let. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and collaborative team where you'll work with an established portfolio of clients, helping them find the right insurance solutions and ensuring they receive an exceptional experience at every stage of their journey.

Please note this is a fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. We welcome applications from candidates seeking either full-time or part-time hours. You will be based in either our Colchester or Cheltenham office.
What you'll be doing
As a Customer Renewal Advisor, you'll support existing clients with their insurance renewals, helping them understand their cover and ensuring their policies continue to meet their needs.
You'll be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, insurers and colleagues
- Contacting existing clients regarding their policy renewals
- Understanding customers' needs and identifying the most suitable insurance solutions
- Delivering a high level of service through phone and email interactions
- Handling customer enquiries promptly, professionally and accurately
- Processing renewals, policy adjustments and related administration
- Preparing and issuing policy documentation
- Working towards individual and team objectives while maintaining excellent customer outcomes
- Identifying opportunities to enhance customer cover and provide additional value where appropriate
What we're looking for
We're interested in people who enjoy helping customers, building relationships and delivering great service. You may have experience in customer service, sales, account management, banking, retail, property, hospitality, insurance or another customer-focused environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience in a customer-facing, sales, renewals or administrative role
- Confidence communicating with customers over the phone and building rapport
- A positive, proactive and customer-focused approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Experience identifying opportunities to add value for customers would be beneficial, but not essential
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
- A Levels desirable but not essential
- Cert CII qualification desirable but not required
