Event Management internship: corporate event coordination

Introduction

The Event Management team is part of Communications, Brand & Digital at ASML. The team develops and delivers corporate events that support business objectives and strengthen the ASML brand. During this internship, you will contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of events while gaining hands-on experience in project management and stakeholder collaboration. You will work with experienced event professionals and help create engaging event experiences from concept to evaluation. This internship is ideal if you enjoy organizing projects, collaborating with different stakeholders, and seeing your work come to life.

Your assignment

As an Event Management Intern, you will support the successful delivery of corporate events while learning how large-scale professional events are managed. You will gain experience in planning, logistics, stakeholder coordination, and event execution. The focus of this internship is on project management, operational coordination, and creating consistent brand experiences.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events
• Coordinate event logistics, including venues, catering, transportation, registration, and on-site support
• Maintain project plans, timelines, action lists, and administrative documentation
• Prepare event materials, briefing documents, and event execution plans
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support event objectives
• Assist during event delivery and contribute to resolving operational challenges
• Collect feedback and event insights to support continuous improvement initiatives
  

This is a bachelor internship (non-thesis) for 5 months, minimum 4 days per week (2-3 days on-site, flexibility is required when there are events). The start date of this internship is as of February 2027.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

• Are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality management, communication, marketing, business administration, or a related field
• Have strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail
• Are proactive and enjoy taking ownership of tasks and deliverables
• Communicate clearly in English and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
• Can manage multiple priorities and work toward deadlines in a structured manner
• Have a service-oriented mindset and enjoy supporting high-quality experiences

Other requirements you need to meet:

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship, and you are at least 18 years old at the start of the internship;
• If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement);
• You attach your cover letter with a clear motivation on why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your application shows the willingness to relocate.
