Description

Since 2004, we’ve been bringing investment ideas to life and connecting capital with the right people and opportunities. Today, we manage more than £2.5 billion for a broad range of investors across five key investment strategies: Private Credit, Social Housing, Clean Heat, Energy and Venture. These strategies underpin the innovative range of investments we offer to both private (retail) and institutional clients.

There are 230+ employees at Triple Point, all committed to leaving the world demonstrably better than we found it. That’s why we’re a certified B Corp, signed up to the Principles for Responsible Investment, and were named a Sunday Times 'Best Place to Work  2025 & 2026'.

If this sounds like an environment where you would flourish, then read on…

The Function & Team

The Distribution team raises and retains assets under management (AUM) to support Triple Point’s growth. We provide financial solutions for advisers and their clients, building relationships based on trust, transparency and integrity.

The Role

This is a phone-based business development role, working closely with regional Business Development Managers (BDMs). You’ll build relationships with new and existing financial advisers, generate sales activity and help manage the pipeline across your region. You’ll also provide a high standard of service to advisers and their clients.

A central part of the role is proactive prospecting: identifying advisers to contact, finding relevant reasons to engage them and creating opportunities for the regional team. You’ll build and maintain a clear pipeline, follow up consistently and help progress opportunities from first contact through to application.

You’ll work with colleagues to deliver shared regional targets. The internal and external teams rely on one another: the internal team creates and develops opportunities, while regional BDMs build adviser relationships and host meetings. Success means creating a steady flow of well-qualified meetings and opportunities for the region.

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, is curious about advisers’ businesses and thinks creatively about how to engage existing supporters and introduce Triple Point to new advisers. You’ll be interested in developing your skills, improving how the team works and contributing to the future direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively find and contact new advisers, develop existing relationships and identify relevant ways to engage them.
  • Manage the regional pipeline by recording opportunities and next steps, following up consistently and progressing business towards application.
  • Generate and book well-qualified meetings for regional BDMs, working together to deliver shared targets.
  • Respond to adviser enquiries, prepare client-specific illustrations and provide indicative terms by phone or email, as required.
  • Help advisers understand Triple Point’s solutions and explore how these may meet their clients’ needs; chase prospective business and resolve queries along the way.
  • Maintain accurate adviser and opportunity records in Salesforce, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support sales and marketing campaigns, represent Triple Point at industry events when requested, and suggest ways to improve team processes.
  • Develop towards owning adviser relationships and hosting one-to-one meetings.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Experience in sales or business development; phone-based experience is particularly useful.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a commitment to excellent service.
  • Clear written communication, strong numeracy and good attention to detail.
  • Confidence using IT, particularly Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new information quickly.
  • Good organisation and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the initiative to identify opportunities and follow them through.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work towards agreed activity and business targets.
  • Integrity, flexibility, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in financial services.

Desirable

  • Experience working with IFAs or other professional intermediaries.
  • Experience using Salesforce or another customer relationship management system.
  • Industry-specific qualifications, or a willingness to work towards them.

Why Join Us?

  • Join a talented, collaborative team where ideas and initiative are valued.
  • Be part of a growing business and an evolving Distribution team.
  • Receive a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Access opportunities for professional development and career progression.

At Triple Point, high performance means living our values every day:
