Your role and responsibilities

Currently we are looking for a candidate for the position of Project Manager who will strengthen ABB Tender & Execution Center team. 

Working as Order Execution Project Manager You will be supporting ABB sales activity by leading the execution of medium-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. 

The work model for the role is: #LiHybrid. 

You will be mainly accountable for: 

• Take ownership of project execution from Order Intake until End of Warranty of delivered products/packages. Ensures efficient and correct order execution. 
• Ensures high customer satisfaction, presenting constant high customer focus. 
• Acts as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Performs tasks independently and is able to teach others. 

• Monitors and controls project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow. 

• Identifies, qualifies, quantifies and manages project risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued. 

• Coordinates with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procures required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers. Perform order handling activities e.g. logistics, invoicing etc. 
• Prepares complete project documents in own area of expertise. 

• Ensures that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed.

Qualifications for the role: 

• Bachelor's degree or above (Higher education in engineering will be an asset). 

• Project management experience (at least 3 years) in execution of small to medium-size projects (preferably order execution, power industry environment). 

• Knowledge of project management methodologies: Knowledge of various methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, or PRINCE2. Ability to flexibly change during project implementation. 

• Experience in direct work with customers and suppliers. 

• Good command of English language enabling daily communication. Polish language will be an asset. 

• Knowledge of transport management as well as Tax and Export compliance will be an asset. 

• Knowledge of SAP system. Knowledge of PLM Windchill is advantage. 

• Very good communication skills, strong results orientation and self-organizing.
