## The impact you’ll make

At Lam, as an Expeditor, you play an integral role in meeting production schedules. You'll coordinate, route, and expedite materials to address shortages. Your expertise extends to proper routing of incoming materials and monitoring the flow of materials between departments to meet scheduled commitments. Your contribution ensures smooth material handling, supporting Lam's commitment to operational excellence.

## What you’ll do

• The Expeditor role supports the Buyers by managing and monitoring material deliveries in and out of the Lam warehouse and assists with resolving material shortages.
• Perform a variety of coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules.
• Engage with suppliers to establish confirmed delivery commitments and expedite parts to remedy shortage problems.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm order status, shipment details, and resolve delivery issues or discrepancies.
• May ensure incoming materials are properly routed.
• May monitor the flow of materials and parts between departments to meet scheduled commitments.
• Escalate delays and work with buyers and suppliers to determine recovery plan.
• Assist with urgent material needs and expedite inventory movement to minimize production impact.
• Expedites parts to remedy shortage problems. Ensure incoming materials are properly routed. Monitor the flow of materials and parts between departments to meet scheduled commitments through various other system tools.
• PO in SAP, ensuring shipment of material to supplier, creating and ensuring completion of IDAC.
• Tracks hot incoming materials through to receipt in SAP system.
• Process and maintain material reworks and Variance material for Purchasing, including but not limited to, contacting supplier for RMA, creating rework PO, ensuring return shipment of material to supplier.
• Create rework PO's in SAP and IDAC's as requested for ECR's processed by NPI buyers.

## Who we’re looking for

• Minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience.
• MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Knowledge in SAP MM Module.
• Self-motivated, proactive, high energy, strong work ethic, adaptive, able to meet tight deadlines with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively communicate cross-functionally.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a desire to work as part of a team.
• Work Schedule: 8 AM – 5 PM PST shift.

## Preferred qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, production control, logistics, inventory management, or a related operational environment.
• Experience in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP experience preferred).
• Experience analyzing material shortages, inventory issues, and production constraints.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $25.00 - $49.04.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
