Ready to be part of the action?

The Technology Partner serves as the dedicated Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and strategic relationship manager between assigned Corporate Functions (including HR, Legal/LCA, M&A/Integration, Finance, and Business Units) and the broader technology organization, spanning Corporate Technology Services (CTS) and Global Technology Services (GTS). Situated within the Enterprise Solutions & Services pillar, this role bridges business strategy and technology execution. By establishing formal demand intake frameworks, crafting robust business cases, driving vendor Statement of Work (SOW) reviews, and partnering with cross-functional Tech Leads, the Technology Partner optimizes functional architecture, eliminates fragmented processes, and ensures tangible business value realization.

Reports to: Head of Corporate Technology

Job Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) - based in Toronto, ON.

Key Accountabilities

  • Single Point of Contact & Strategic Navigation: Serve as the primary SPOC for functional leadership, enabling seamless navigation across Global Technology Services (GTS), CTS platform teams, and external technology vendors while building trusted advisory relationships with business executives.
  • Demand Intake & Business Case Development: Establish and manage a structured demand intake and prioritization framework; partner with business leaders to build comprehensive Business Cases, ROI models, and TCO analyses; defend investments through governance gates and translate business strategies into high-quality functional specifications and outcome-driven OKRs.
  • Strategic Roadmapping & Business Advisory: Partner with functional leaders to build multi-year business technology roadmaps aligned with corporate OKRs, actively identifying capability gaps, application redundancies, and workflow optimization opportunities.
  • Vendor Management, Contracting & SOW Execution: Collaborate with Corporate Technology Business Management, Enterprise Architecture, Tech Leads, Procurement, and Legal to evaluate vendor marketplace options, draft RFPs/RFIs, negotiate commercial terms, and review vendor SOWs (ensuring clear deliverables, SLAs, milestone payments, and acceptance criteria while quality-checking implementation plans).
  • Platform & Solution Architecture Collaboration: Work alongside Tech Leads across Enterprise Platforms & Operations (Workday, ServiceNow, Google Workspace, Corporate Analytics, Desktop Apps, Web/Intranet) and GTS teams (Enterprise Architecture, Data & AI) to define scalable, compliant solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, data governance, and security protocols.
  • Value Realization & Metrics Tracking: Define, track, and measure post-implementation performance metrics against original business case projections to validate ROI, financial benefits, and platform adoption.
  • Squad & Delivery Alignment: Partner with dedicated delivery squads (Lead Business Systems Analysts, BSAs, and Integration Developers) to maintain backlog prioritization, oversee SOW delivery milestones, and drive high-quality change adoption.

Must Have(s)

  • Professional Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in business technology partnering, IT relationship management, senior business systems analysis, or IT consulting supporting enterprise corporate functions.
  • Commercial & Business Acumen: Demonstrated track record of authoring executive-level business cases, financial modeling (CAPEX/OPEX, ROI, TCO), and successfully defending funding requests through governance gates.
  • Contracting & SOW Expertise: Hands-on experience participating in vendor procurement cycles, drafting/reviewing SOWs, defining deliverables/milestones, establishing SLAs, and managing third-party delivery risk.
  • Demand & Governance Expertise: Proven track record of establishing formal demand management frameworks, product roadmapping, and OKR-driven governance processes.
  • Stakeholder & Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language, manage senior executive relationships, and hold vendor partners accountable for delivery.
