Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Diagnostics in Beverly Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will respond to alarms and concerns, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and retail personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail property, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a high-traffic luxury retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
