What You Will Do
General duties include but are not limited to:- Designing structures such as reservoirs, retaining walls, bridges, culverts, tunnels, pipelines, sewers, sidewalks, highways, etc
- Preparing designs, plans, specifications, estimates, and reports
- Supervising construction and inspection activities
- Reviewing and interpreting plans and specifications of buildings and structures

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in an engineering specialty.

As part of the hiring process, you may be asked to furnish documentation to verify your education to move forward for further consideration.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Three years of non-registered professional civil engineering experience.
LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
- Possession of an appropriate valid driver's license, as required.
- Possession of a valid license as a professional Civil Engineer in the State of Hawaii.
NOTE: Applicants with a current out-of-state professional Civil Engineer license must obtain their Hawaii license prior to appointment.
