About You and This Role

As an Analytical Technician based in Wiesbaden, Germany, you are a detail-oriented laboratory professional who is passionate about supporting manufacturing operations through high-quality analytical testing and data management. In this role, you will perform laboratory analyses that provide critical information for production, quality, and operational decision-making. You will work with analytical instruments, prepare and test samples, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure accurate reporting of results while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and environmental standards.


Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory analyses and testing to support manufacturing and quality requirements
  • Collect, prepare, and analyze samples according to established testing plans and analytical methods
  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure reliable performance
  • Evaluate analytical data, verify result accuracy, and communicate findings to internal customers
  • Create, manage, and retain laboratory records in accordance with established documentation practices using both paper records and electronic laboratory information systems
  • Follow safety, environmental, quality, and laboratory operating procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvements

Qualifications

  • Candidates with at least 3 years of relevant experience are preferred.
  • Possess a completed vocational education program, laboratory technician qualification, or equivalent secondary education with relevant laboratory or manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrate foundational knowledge of chemistry, analytical science, or a related technical discipline
  • Apply laboratory testing procedures and standard operating practices in a structured work environment
  • Support analytical equipment maintenance, calibration, and basic troubleshooting activities
  • Work effectively with electronic laboratory information and data management systems
  • Ability to accurately document laboratory activities and maintain clear, legible, and complete laboratory records and reports.

Your Skills

  • Use analytical laboratory instruments and testing equipment with a high level of accuracy
  • Apply strong attention to detail when handling samples, recording data, and reporting results
  • Interpret analytical data and identify unusual results or equipment performance issues
  • Organize multiple laboratory activities while maintaining quality and compliance standards
  • Collaborate effectively within a manufacturing and laboratory environment
  • Utilize digital tools and laboratory software for data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally in German and English with colleagues and stakeholders

Additional Notes

  • Experience gained through laboratory internships, apprenticeships, chemical manufacturing environments, or technical education programs is preferred
  • Support administrative and operational activities within the Quality organization.
  • Relocation/visa sponsorship is not supported for this role.
