Reporting To: Team Lead
Description
To plan and schedule works across various business departments collaborating with task owners/team leads and identifying efficiencies through location, process, job types etc. Providing support to business areas in order to ensure that workers are able to concentrate on tasks rather than planning and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
1. Consulting with business specialists in order to understand detail of activities
2. Identifying potential schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timely manner
3. Recommending actions to keep tasks and projects on time
4. Answers phones and emails, schedules and confirms appointments, and inputs internal/customer data into company systems.
5. Scheduling tasks across departments in order of defined business priority
6. Realign scheduled tasks to match priority whilst resolving conflicts
7. Delivering exceptional customer service both internally and externally
8. Escalating conflicts to the Planning and Scheduling Team Lead
9. Produce reports in line with requirements set out by Team Lead
10. Contributes to team effort and identifies/recommends enhancements to processes

- Ability to understand and follow instructions

- Ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities, used to working under pressure and to deadlines (essential)
- Excellent organisational/time management skills
- Good level of computer/software competency
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- Ability to problem solve
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders (essential)
- An understanding of scheduling practices/resource management techniques would be beneficial but not essential
