The Global Associate Director, Business Analyst Pipeline & Portfolio supports the development and ongoing evolution of ATHENA by translating forecasting-process needs into clear requirements, user stories, process flows, functional specifications, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria. The role acts as the link between the Forecasting CoE, product platform and regional leads, pilot users, the ATHENA Solution & Product Owner, and Technology delivery teams.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Capture and document business requirements from the Forecasting CoE, product platform leads, regional leads, and users.
- Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops to clarify forecasting processes, user journeys, governance requirements, and system functionality.
- Support backlog refinement and requirements prioritization with the Solution & Product Owner.
- Prepare UAT scenarios and test cases, coordinate business validation, and support defect triage.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability from business requirements through solution delivery and acceptance.
- Support documentation of ATHENA workflows, governance steps, training materials, user guidance, and SOPs.
- Identify improvement opportunities based on user feedback, process performance, and evolving business needs.
- Support the integration and process boundaries between ATHENA, SANITY, EDP, and relevant downstream solutions.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
Experience:
- 3 to 5 or more years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
- Experience managing requirements from elicitation through implementation and acceptance.
- Experience with user stories, process flows, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement.
- Experience preparing and supporting UAT, business validation, and defect resolution.
- Experience working with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, data teams, and external delivery partners.
- Pharmaceutical or life-sciences experience is preferred.
- Experience in forecasting, portfolio management, commercial planning, launch planning, or IBP is an advantage.
Skills:
- Business analysis and requirements engineering.
- Business-process modelling and workflow documentation.
- User-story and acceptance-criteria definition.
- Workshop facilitation and stakeholder alignment.
- UAT preparation, test-case definition, and defect triage.
- Requirements traceability and structured documentation.
- Agile delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Basic understanding of data flows, integrations, governance, and enterprise applications.
- Ability to explain complex business requirements clearly to both business and Technology audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and collaborative working style.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Life Sciences, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Languages:
English excellent fluency in oral and written.
