About Us – ICU Step-Down Unit (Transitional Care Unit)

 The Transitional Care Unit is a 20-bed department consisting of multidisciplinary team of nurses, nurse technicians, and ancillary staff.

TCU serves Freeman and our community through caring for patients that are transitioning from ICU to Med-Surge level of care.

We serve a vast range of patient populations, from cardiac complications, respiratory distress, diabetes management, and many more.

What You’ll Do

 Under The Direction/Supervision Of A Nurse, Provides Basic Nursing Care Needs For Assigned Patients.

Requirements

 Currently Enrolled In Rn Nursing Program And Beginning Final Semester Of Nursing School

AHA BLS For Healthcare Providers Within 60 Days.

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program (Cpi) Within 365 Days.

Nt Competency Day Annually By Transcript Due Date.
