What we do:

For 150 years, Watts has built best-in-class products that are trusted by customers in residential and commercial settings across the world. We are at the forefront of innovation, working with cutting-edge technology to provide smart and connected, sustainable water solutions for the future. Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation — and we have a dynamic future ahead.

Scope of Position

This experienced and collaborative leader, as part of the Information Technology team, is responsible for the strategy, architecture, operations, security, and lifecycle management of Watts' global network and communications services. The Senior Manager, Network Services serves as the accountable service owner for reliable, secure, scalable, and high-performing connectivity across corporate offices, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, data centers, and cloud environments worldwide.

This position is responsible for supervision and development of a geographically distributed team supporting network services, as well as oversight of managed service providers, telecommunications carriers, contractors, and technology vendors.

This position reports to VP, IT Infrastructure and Operations. This role is eligible to be remote or based out of Andover, MA.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the availability, performance, reliability, security, and continuous improvement of the global enterprise network and communications services across corporate, manufacturing, distribution, data center, and cloud environments.
  • Define and maintain the global network and communications strategy, architecture, technology roadmap, standards, and reference designs for LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, cloud connectivity, enterprise voice, and collaboration services.
  • Lead network and communications modernization initiatives, including SD-WAN, wireless modernization, network segmentation, cloud connectivity, automation, Microsoft Teams Phone, and retirement of legacy telephony services.
  • Ensure appropriate capacity, redundancy, resiliency, disaster recovery, monitoring, documentation, lifecycle management, and support models are in place for business-critical network and communications services.
  • Lead response to major network and communications incidents; drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and problem management for recurring or significant service issues.
  • Own the global unified communications service, including Microsoft Teams, Teams Phone, enterprise telephony, conferencing, PSTN connectivity, voice routing, and related carrier services; establish standards that support reliable voice, video, and collaboration experiences.
  • Partner with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, and OT teams to implement secure network architectures, segmentation, access controls, and change-management practices appropriate for corporate and production environments.
  • Ensure new locations, acquisitions, expansions, and infrastructure programs follow global network and communications standards, and lead integration or remediation activities where environments require modernization.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Network Services team; establish clear service ownership, technical standards, support coverage, escalation procedures, performance expectations, capability development, and succession plans.
  • Manage strategic relationships with Cisco, Microsoft, telecommunications carriers, managed service providers, and other vendors; oversee service performance, contractual SLAs, lifecycle plans, and issue escalation.
  • Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets for network and communications services, identifying opportunities to consolidate services, retire legacy technology, improve efficiency, and optimize cost without compromising service quality.
  • Establish and monitor service-level metrics and operational KPIs for availability, incident response and resolution, change quality, user experience, vendor performance, lifecycle compliance, and modernization progress; communicate service health, risks, and priorities to technical and business leaders.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Company management.
  • Demonstrate Continuous Improvement by standardizing network and communications services, reducing one-off solutions, automating repeatable work, and simplifying or retiring unnecessary legacy technology.
