Wound Care Nurse Practitioner – Part Time – 1 Day Per Week – Hot Springs AR

Part-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner opportunity serving two skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Hot Springs, AR. This one-day-per-week role lets you deliver specialized wound care with clinical autonomy while keeping a flexible schedule, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Facilities Covered (1 Day Per Week)

• Hot Springs, AR: 2 facilities in the same city

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and treat acute, chronic, complex and nonhealing wounds
• Diagnose and manage diabetic, arterial, venous, mixed-etiology and pressure-related wounds
• Stage pressure injuries per NPIAP guidelines and build individualized wound care plans
• Use advanced wound care products and manage wound VACs and related equipment
• Order and follow up on diagnostic tests and prescribe medications in accordance with Arkansas law
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team, and educate facility staff on wound prevention
• Document patient encounters accurately and on time in the EMR

What You Bring

• Active, unrestricted Arkansas Nurse Practitioner license
• Current national NP board certification; DEA registration preferred but optional
• Adult, family or geriatric clinical background with wound care experience
• Wound care certification strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain it
• Skilled nursing, long-term care or post-acute experience preferred
• EMR proficiency, strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel between the two assigned facilities

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time, 1 day per week, day shift
• $5,000 sign-on bonus
• Salary: $22,000 to $26,000 per year
