Description
Custom Personnel has a client seeking a CNC Drafter for their fabrication company.
This job produces detailed 2D and 3D CAD documentation, develops optimized CAM toolpaths and post-processed G-code for CNC mills, lathes, routers and multi-axis machines, and collaborates across engineering, tooling and production to ensure accurate, manufacturable components. This role combines strong technical drafting ability, CAM programming experience, applied GD&T and DFM principles, and a practical understanding of machining processes to reduce cycle times, improve first-time quality and support continuous improvement initiatives.
A successful candidate will have 2–5 years of direct CNC drafting, CAD modeling and CAM programming experience for production and prototype machining.
