POSITION: Event Runner
DEPARTMENT: Production
REPORTS TO: Production Manager
FLSA STATUS: Part Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly
LOCATION: Buddy Holly Hall, Lubbock, TX

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The position is event based and will be scheduled on an as needed basis.
- Maintains a professional appearance and mannerism
- Possesses knowledge of the area (i.e. street and business locations)
- Works with a show’s touring manager running errands, shopping for groceries picking up/dropping off talent at the airport/hotel, picking up food at local restaurants, dropping off/picking up laundry, setting up an office environment for show personnel
- Maintains spending records and receipts for all purchased items
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements and Abilities
- Must be 21 years of age (required to operate a rental vehicle and to purchase alcohol)
- Must be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle and must pass a driving background check
- Must be able to pass a background check for cash handling
- Must possess the ability to operate a 15-passenger van, an SUV, and/or a passenger vehicle
- Must possess the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must possess the ability to work hours as dictated by events, very frequently from early morning until late at night with some shifts lasting longer than 12 hours
- Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, work independently and as a team, and have reliable transportation. The position is event based and will be scheduled on an as needed basis.
- Candidate may be asked to use personal vehicle on occasion. Having access to a vehicle that seats at least 5 people is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Location: On Site at The Buddy Holly Hall, Lubbock, Texas
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, during events, the noise level may be loud
