Citi is looking for a Product Strategic Oversight Lead to drive business risk strategy, oversight, and change management across the Partnership Cards & Development organization. In this role, you will assess how regulatory, partner, and product changes affect the business, translating those findings into resilient processes and scalable risk-mitigation solutions. This is a high-impact opportunity to modernize the oversight environment by partnering with technical teams to replace manual processes with automated, future-ready frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end coordination of cross-functional change implementations, ensuring all affected products, partner processes, and systems are fully aligned before and after go-live.
- Assess the upstream and downstream impacts of regulatory, partner, and business changes, developing comprehensive implementation plans with clearly defined readiness criteria.
- Evaluate existing risk mitigation strategies and partner with technical teams to transition manual oversight processes to automated, scalable solutions.
- Analyze competitive market landscapes, product performance data, and client research to surface trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic product roadmaps.
- Deliver regular, transparent reporting to senior leadership on implementation status, critical dependencies, emerging risks, and outstanding gaps.
- Shape client value propositions, segmentation strategies, and competitive positioning to strengthen Citi's standing as a preferred partner.
- Contribute to the achievement of acquisition targets, revenue performance, and financial goals by identifying and executing on business plan opportunities.
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, escalating control issues with clarity and supporting a sound risk culture across the team.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 10 or more years of experience in a relevant field, such as product management, program management, marketing, credit, acquisitions, or business risk assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate, design, and strengthen business control environments in complex, regulated settings.
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional change management initiatives from assessment through operationalization.
- Ability to assess upstream and downstream impacts of business and regulatory changes and translate findings into actionable implementation plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders in a straightforward way.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent university-level education.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline such as business, finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with partnership card products, co-brand programs, or financial services product ecosystems.
- Experience working with technical teams to automate oversight or risk management processes.
