Description
Our client operates at the intersection of corporate, fiduciary and regulatory services, partnering with private equity houses, investment managers and international financial institutions. Backed by long-term institutional investment and an established global brand, the firm is scaling its capabilities, technology and international footprint.
Our client is looking to grow their newly created Compliance team in Kraków, and are therefore seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support the ongoing enhancement of client onboarding and financial crime controls framework. This is an excellent opportunity for an AML/KYC professional looking to move into a quality oversight role, gaining broader exposure to regulatory standards, governance and continuous improvement initiatives
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of onboarding, periodic review and trigger-event KYC files.
- Provide practical guidance and quality-related advice to operational stakeholders.
- Deliver clear written and verbal feedback to Compliance Analysts to support continuous improvement.
- Document findings accurately and provide actionable recommendations.
- Escalate material issues where appropriate and support remediation activities.
- Participate in feedback and calibration sessions to ensure consistency of standards.
- Review AML policies, procedures and related documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote quality, consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Support team development through knowledge sharing, coaching and mentoring where appropriate.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Able to demonstrate a solid understanding of AML, KYC and client onboarding requirements.
- Previous experience within Compliance, Financial Crime, KYC or Client Due Diligence functions.
- Experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control is advantageous, but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a desire to contribute beyond the core responsibilities.
