Nail Technician

We are seeking a talented, professional, and ship-ready Nail Technician to join our onboard Spa and Wellness team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail treatments and creating a welcoming, relaxing experience for guests from around the world. Key Responsibilities

Provide professional manicure and pedicure treatments according to guest preferences and company standards. Perform nail services such as gel polish, acrylics, extensions, nail art, and other treatments within your qualifications and experience. Consult with guests to understand their needs, recommend suitable treatments, and provide professional advice on nail care and maintenance.

Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized workstation at all times. Follow strict sanitation, sterilization, and health and safety procedures when handling equipment, products, and tools. Ensure all services are performed safely and professionally while maintaining the high standards expected onboard.

Build positive relationships with guests by providing friendly, attentive, and personalized service. Promote relevant spa treatments, nail services, and beauty products when appropriate. Work closely with other members of the Spa and Wellness team to create an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

Previous professional experience as a Nail Technician is essential. Candidates should have relevant nail, beauty, or cosmetology qualifications and practical experience in a professional salon, spa, hotel, or cruise environment.

Strong knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel, acrylic, and nail care techniques is preferred. Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills are required. Candidates must have a professional appearance, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent attention to detail.

Fluent English is required. Candidates must also be able to speak at least one European language, such as German, French, Italian, Spanish, or Dutch. Additional languages will be considered an advantage.

The successful candidate must be flexible and comfortable working shifts, weekends, and holidays. Cruise ship life requires adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to remain professional in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be prepared to live and work onboard for the duration of their contract and interact with guests and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Ship-Ready Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid passport and be able to provide all required professional certificates and employment documentation. Candidates should be medically and professionally prepared to work onboard and be willing to complete any required training, medical checks, or background verification before joining.
