JOB SUMMARY

The Talent Sourcing Specialist serves as the sourcing engine for the Talent Acquisition function, partnering closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to build high-quality candidate pipelines across technical and business functions. This role supports standardized hiring by reviewing applicants, identifying qualified talent, and presenting curated candidate shortlists, while also owning proactive sourcing for confidential and business-critical searches. The Talent Sourcing Specialist plays a critical role in improving hiring speed, expanding talent pipelines, and enabling Talent Acquisition Partners to focus on strategic consultation, candidate assessment, and offer management.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build qualified talent pipelines across technical, business, and corporate functions using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, referrals, talent communities, and other sourcing channels
  • Review inbound applications, evaluate candidate alignment against established hiring criteria, and present curated candidate shortlists to hiring managers; own proactive sourcing for confidential, business-critical, and hard-to-fill searches
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners during recruiter-led intake meetings to understand hiring priorities, sourcing strategies, and candidate profiles, while communicating market insights, pipeline health, and sourcing recommendations throughout the search
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity within Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, and related recruiting technologies, ensuring timely candidate handoffs and process compliance
  • Build collaborative relationships with Talent Acquisition Partners, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and Talent Enablement to support consistent recruiting practices and an exceptional hiring experience
  • Conduct talent market research, competitive intelligence, and pipeline analysis to strengthen sourcing strategies and inform workforce planning discussions
  • Identify opportunities to improve sourcing workflows, pipeline quality, and recruiting efficiency through continuous process improvement
  • Continuously expand knowledge of SaaS job families, technical disciplines, labor market trends, sourcing methodologies, and recruiting best practices

  • Demonstrates increasing business acumen and recruiting expertise, building readiness for progression into a Talent Acquisition Partner role

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting coordination, recruiting operations, staffing, or a related talent acquisition function
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (preferably Workday), or similar recruiting technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to organize multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate candidate qualifications against established hiring criteria
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
