Shift Availability for Activities Assistant:
- Full-Time
- Weekdays 9am-5:30pm
- Every other weekend 9am-5:30pm
- Every other holiday 9am-4pm
Responsibilities of Activities Assistant:
- Implementation of recreational program.
- Monitor resident needs, preferences, and attendance in activities.
- Assist in preparing activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
- This position will be working on a secured dementia unit. Experience working with Dementia preferred.
- This position is part of a three person activity staff team.

Requirements
Qualifications of Activities Assistant:
- Desire to work with the senior population
- Strong interpersonal skills with awareness for dignity, respect, compassion and safety
- Dementia care experience is preferred.
