Cardinal Points Imaging of the Carolinas is seeking a patient-focused Mammography Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team in Raleigh, NC (Midtown).

Position Status: Full-Time Flex
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (40-hour workweek, Monday - Friday is also available)
Location: Raleigh, NC – Midtown

What You’ll Do

As a Mammography Technologist, you’ll perform high-quality mammography imaging while providing a comfortable, compassionate experience for every patient. You’ll work alongside a supportive outpatient imaging team committed to excellent patient care.

What You’ll Need

• Associate degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program
• ARRT registration in Radiography
• ARRT advanced registration in Mammography as required by the center
• Ability to meet applicable state licensure requirements
• Up to 5 years of Mammography Technologist experience
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience operating mammography and related imaging equipment
• Comfortable working with electronic medical records, imaging systems and digital archiving

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:         

• Up to 5 years experience as a Mammography Technologist         

EDUCATION:         

• Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.         

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:         

• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. Mammo advanced registration through ARRT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Non-IDTF centers require Mammo advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:         

• Skill in operation of Mammography equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.         
• Ability to work independently and multitask.         
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.         
• Demonstrates understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.         
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
