YOUR MISSION
Key Objectives
Support the creation and execution of innovative, market-relevant PUMA Apparel products across seasonal collections.
Translate creative direction into commercially relevant product designs while maintaining PUMA brand DNA.
Take ownership of assigned products from initial concept through development, fit and final execution.
Develop strong technical understanding of apparel construction, fit, fabrics, trims and garment detailing.
Contribute to colour, material, graphic and product stories based on consumer, market and trend insights.
Collaborate closely with Design, Development, PLM, Business Units and other product categories to deliver cohesive collections.
Ensure design deliverables and product developments are executed with a high level of accuracy and within seasonal timelines.
YOUR TALENT
Key Requirements
2+ years of relevant experience in Apparel/Fashion/Sportswear design.
Strong technical understanding of apparel design and development, with the ability to evaluate fit, identify fit issues and make appropriate design amendments.
Good knowledge of apparel construction, garment engineering, fabrics, trims and manufacturing processes.
Strong understanding of different fabric, surface and graphic techniques and their application to apparel.
Ability to translate concepts into clear product designs, technical drawings, specifications and development information.
Good understanding of colour, materials, graphics and garment detailing.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; CAD skills required.
Graphic design skills and experience are a strong plus.
Good awareness of sportswear, fashion, consumer and competitive trends.
Strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple products and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for sport, fashion and sportswear.
Portfolio demonstrating apparel product design, technical capability and development process is required.
