About the Role
Lead and manage the Sales Teams to develop and execute strategies and build relationships with agency to meet and exceed sales targets.This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.
Responsibilities:
Agency Activities Management
- Help formulate sales strategies and execute the plans to foster the new business activities and secure (retain) the in-force business of the responsible district(s) so as to achieve the company’s defined targets
- Communicate and build relationship with agency to support and push CS business
- Provide effective agency promotions to increase awareness within agency channel
- Communicate and build relationships with agents for business development
- Keep abreast of market development and launch effective training programmes for agency
- Assist training team to develop new training courses and sales tools for agency
- Provide professional and technical advice to agents and prospective customers
Financial Management
- Effectively monitor the sales performances of the team to ensure strategic targets such as VONB / ANP, OPAT and Excess EV Growth is met
- Effectively control the S&P budget to ensure no overspending occurs
People Management
- Provide coaching, training and development to the team
- Share and ensure the market update and best practice of the industry to the team
Other Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements:
- University graduate with minimum 12 year's sales experience of which 6 years in supervisory/managerial positions
- Good product knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Able to manage a project independently
- Good command of English and Chinese
- Tactful interpersonal relationship
- Good presentation and team building skills
- Self-motivated and customer orientated
Others:
- You are preferred to obtain the license of Insurance Authority (IA) (Paper 1, 2, and 3) or Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) (Paper 4)
- You are required to acquire the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities
