Responsibilities

As a Forklift Operation Associate Leader, you will contribute to the success of PepsiCo by supervising the day-to-day warehouse operations, with a focus on cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit across one shift. Our Warehouse Supervisors also coordinate the receiving, shipping, and material handling responsibilities in the warehouse by supporting the frontline staff.  Work shift- 6:30pm-7am 

  • Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards and training
  • Identify and execute productivity opportunities to help the facility meet the annual operating plan
  • Managing adequate staff levels to deliver market needs
  • Ability to accomplish all tasks and functions within WMS & E80 systems
  • Develop and motivate your team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
  • Deliver effectively change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Build people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel
  • Utilize docks, warehouse layout, and route truck loading patterns that minimize loading time
  • Prepare shift meeting data for respective shift
  • You will have a regular presence on the plant floor and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
  • This role may operate forklift and address automated vehicle performance
  • You will require off-shift and weekend work with some travel (less than 5%)
  • Demonstrated people and leadership skills with a record of achieving positive business results.
  • Effective communication, coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high intensity environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,900 - $111,950.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience leading and developing others in business, inventory, logistics, transportation and distribution, or related field.
  • 2+ years Project management skills.
  • Ability to create a safe working environment, ensuring that all team members are knowledgeable of good safety practices and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of TPM or process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work off-shifts, weekends and overtime when needed.
  • Must be willing to travel 5-10% of the time.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
