As a Patient Services Representative (PSR), you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for our patients from the moment they connect with MCHC. What You’ll Do
- Greet patients and visitors and provide friendly, professional assistance.
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits.
- Register and check in patients and maintain accurate information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Verify insurance eligibility and connect patients with financial assistance resources when needed.
- Assist patients with forms, consents, and other required documentation.
- Collect and accurately post copayments and other patient payments.
- Answer calls, respond to voicemail, and connect patients with the appropriate resources.
- Communicate wait times and promptly alert clinical staff when patients need immediate attention.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in healthcare, in a similar position or in another industry, in a customer service role
- Bilingual, English/Spanish, fluent
