About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Corporate Office in London or Hong Kong, within the Restaurants, Bars & Experiences team, the Global Director of RB&E Commercial Performance is responsible for developing and leading the global commercial performance strategy across Restaurants, Bars and Events, driving revenue growth, profitability, performance marketing effectiveness, systems optimisation and AI-enabled innovation across the portfolio.

The Global Director of RB&E Commercial Performance reports to the Group Director of Food & Beverage.

As Global Director of RB&E Commercial Performance, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Lead the global commercial performance agenda across Restaurants, Bars and Events, with accountability for revenue and margin performance.

• Develop and implement global revenue management, forecasting and commercial performance frameworks that support sustainable growth.

• Drive commercial insights, reporting and data analytics initiatives that enable faster and more effective decision-making across the business.

• Own the global RB&E systems strategy, including platforms such as CRM, reservations, POS, guest engagement, kitchen operations and AI-enabled solutions.

• Lead the RB&E performance marketing strategy, ensuring agency performance, campaign effectiveness and return on investment deliver measurable commercial results.

• Partner closely with Regional Operations, Group Finance, Commercial, Technology and other stakeholders to identify opportunities and implement best practices globally.

• Develop standardized commercial playbooks, reporting frameworks and performance management tools while allowing appropriate market flexibility.

• Build and lead a high-performing team culture while mentoring direct reports and shaping the future structure of the function.

As Global Director of RB&E Commercial Performance, we expect from you:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic global roles, ideally within luxury hospitality, food and beverage, commercial performance, revenue management, consulting or related environments.

• Demonstrated experience leading commercial performance, revenue growth, forecasting, analytics and business transformation initiatives.

• Strong understanding of financial modelling, P&L management, performance reporting and commercial decision-making.

• Experience working with technology platforms, digital transformation initiatives, data analytics and AI-enabled solutions.

• Knowledge of performance marketing, digital marketing effectiveness, paid media, campaign measurement and ROI management.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions and regions.

• Proven leadership experience, including team development, mentoring and change management.

• Strong analytical mindset combined with strategic thinking and commercial acumen.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership teams.
