Senior Lead - Ecommerce Mexico

As the Senior Lead, Digital, Mexico, you will own the digital commercial strategy and performance for On’s Mexico business, playing a key role in unlocking the next phase of digital growth in one of our most important markets.
With a strong commercial and customer-centric mindset, you will identify opportunities to accelerate revenue growth, acquire and retain customers, and continuously improve the digital experience. You will translate regional and global priorities into locally relevant strategies and actions, balancing commercial performance with the premium positioning and experience that define On.
This role operates in a highly dynamic, collaborative and matrixed environment, partnering closely with LATAM, Americas and Global teams, as well as cross-functional partners across Media Performance, On-site Merchandising, Merchandising, Demand & Supply Planning, Operations, Buying, Marketing, Finance, B2B and Retail.

 

Your Mission:

• As part of the Mexico leadership team you will work as an important member of the country organization.
• Lead and execute the end-to-end digital commercial strategy for Mexico, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution to drive revenue, traffic, conversion, customer acquisition, retention, and ROI.
• Play a pivotal role in the Mexico GTM strategy, ensuring brand, product, marketing and commercial priorities are connected and translated into clear digital actions.
• Identify and lead transformative digital growth opportunities, using customer insights, market trends and performance data to accelerate revenue growth and strengthen customer engagement.
• Develop a deep understanding of the Mexican digital consumer, using behavioral and customer journey insights to shape strategies across On’s digital properties and channels.
• Partner with the global On Site Merchandising team to optimize the customer journey and onsite experience, giving insights for improvements across navigation, search, product presentation, merchandising, content and conversion to create a seamless premium experience.
• Partner closely with Merchandising, Buying, Demand & Supply Planning and Operations to ensure the right assortment, product availability and inventory are in place to maximize key launches, local moments and commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate with our internal Marketing and Media Performance teams, as well as agency partners, to shape acquisition, CRM, and paid media strategies that effectively reach and engage Mexican consumers.
• Drive cross-functional commercial alignment across B2B, Retail, Marketing, Media, Merchandising, Finance and Operations to ensure a connected omnichannel experience and cohesive execution.
• Represent the Mexico digital business within LATAM, Americas and Global teams, bringing local market insights into regional and global strategies while ensuring global priorities are effectively translated to the Mexican market.
• Lead ongoing business performance reviews, turning data and insights into clear priorities and actions, challenging the status quo and continuously raising digital commercial performance.

Your Story:

• 8+ years of experience leading digital commerce strategy for premium brands, with expert knowledge of the Mexican e-commerce ecosystem, including local marketplaces, payment methods, and fulfillment networks.
• Experience in the sports industry and/or Global Apparel premium brands is strongly preferred.
• In-depth experience operating within an owned distributed business model and navigating complex local e-commerce landscapes.
• Proven track record of effective cross-functional collaboration with Media Performance, Merchandising, Demand & Supply Planning, Buyers, Marketing, B2B, and Retail teams.
• Strong ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and partner seamlessly with regional (LATAM, Americas) and Global stakeholder teams.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• Strong commercial acumen with solid analytical skills in e-commerce metrics, financial forecasting, and user journey optimization.
