What You'll Be Doing

Provides day to day supervision of section. Functions as general and technical supervisor as listed in CAP, CLIA, and NJDOHSS Regulations.

 

What You'll Be Doing

• Establishes procedure protocol for the section.
• Sets the technical direction for the section.
• Maintains familiarity with the current literature of the respective discipline.
• Sets example of professional integrity to employees and peers.
• Maintains all records as necessary to be in compliance with inspection agencies.

• Analyzes problems effectively.
• Requires an appropriate level of guidance.
• Carefully considers alternatives before making decisions.
• Keeps Supervisors informed of developments and outcomes.

• Participates in Quality Improvement activities including team membership.
• Improves performance based on results obtained from QI activities
• Promotes a professional atmosphere through courteous communication.

What We're Looking For

Education: Bachelors degree

Experience: 2 –4 years related experience, supervisory experience preferred, Chemistry experience required.

Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to supervise staff, successfully completes initial competency verification for specialty area.
