Position Summary
This lead position supports ingredient data management, category research, purchasing analytics, vendor coordination, and reporting. The role works across multiple systems and teams to maintain accurate information, improve processes, and support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain ingredient price files and specifications.
Support assigned ingredient categories.
Coordinate ingredient material-number creation and approval across multiple systems.
Research category usage trends and verify data accuracy.
Analyze purchasing trends by category, location, and division.
Develop reports and tools that support informed decision-making.
Support the RFP and bid process, including development, tracking, system loading, and execution.
Coordinate vendor-management requirements, including approvals, insurance, and tax documentation.
Manage scorecard reporting for ingredient categories.
Maintain and update category overviews.
Assist management with critical transactions needed to meet business requirements.
Prepare reports to measure team performance and monitor workload.
Resolve problems effectively while setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with others.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience
Data management, analytics, or project management experience preferred
Computer Skills:
Strong overall computer proficiency
Microsoft Office proficiency required
SAP experience preferred
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with employees and leaders at all organizational levels
Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports
