Salary: $65,000- $80,000 range depending on experience.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Systems Analyst to support and enhance HR systems, reporting, and technology initiatives. This role serves as the primary technical resource within the HR team, partnering closely with the Talent Manager and HR Analyst to lead projects, optimize processes, and deliver system solutions that improve efficiency and support business objectives.

The successful candidate will translate business requirements into scalable system solutions, develop reporting and analytics capabilities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR technology platforms.

Note: This role sits within the Human Resources department but is primarily focused on systems, reporting, data, and technology. Previous HR experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead assigned systems projects and programs from planning through implementation.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Track project progress and performance using JIRA and provide regular status updates.
• Define project priorities, timelines, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives while ensuring successful project delivery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance systems and processes.

Systems & Process Optimization

• Serve as a subject matter expert for HR systems, reporting tools, and related technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to ensure effective and consistent use of systems.
• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve workflows.
• Translate business requirements into functional system specifications and technical solutions.
• Ensure system configurations, workflows, and process logic are properly documented and maintained.
• Promote governance, consistency, and best practices across systems and processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to support system enhancements and optimization initiatives.

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Build and support data models using Microsoft technologies including Azure, SQL, Fabric, and Power Automate.
• Analyze business data and provide actionable insights through reporting and visualization tools.
• Utilize APIs and ETL processes to integrate data across multiple platforms and systems.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across reporting environments.
• Support ongoing reporting needs through KPI tracking, dashboard enhancements, and data analysis.

Continuous Learning & Development

• Participate in required training and development programs.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, analytics tools, and industry best practices.
• Attend regular coaching, development, and project review meetings.
• Continuously expand technical knowledge and skills related to systems, reporting, and analytics.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Analytics, Business Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience supporting business systems, reporting platforms, and process improvement initiatives.
• Certification in Microsoft Fabric or related Microsoft technologies is considered an asset.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management tools.
• Advanced experience with Power BI dashboard development and reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies including Azure, Fabric, Power Automate, and related tools.
• Experience working with APIs, ETL processes, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and project delivery frameworks.
