Job Description:
This job is responsible for configuring complex software delivery automation. Key responsibilities include ensuring software deployments are configured to meet access, ownership, and authentication standards. This job may modify code for software deployment automation and ensure software promotion pipelines for complex/high availability applications follow Continuous Delivery best practices. Job expectations include the ability to integrate development, testing practices, software delivery tools, and runtime application standards at the bank.

Responsible for matching current technology with the current needs. As part of this task, engages in the evaluation and installation of software, hardware, and other types of support equipment into a workable network that supports a variety of functions. This person has fundamental knowledge of Systems Engineering infrastructure. Includes individuals performing high-level systems support.

• Providing problem determination and resolution, install and update newly developed software to assigned systems. Identify alternatives for optimizing computer resources.
• Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions. Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems.
• Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as networking to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
• Write and maintain system documentation. Responsible for capacity planning, disaster recovery, and security, where necessary.
• Possess extensive experience with operating systems, network protocols, systems programming and configurations, and/or hubs, switches, and routers.
• The implementation Engineer should have 5+ years experience in projects related to end to end server builds.
• Prior experience as Site Reliability Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or DevOps Engineer a plus.
• The candidate for this position should be able to manage multiple infrastructure projects and deliver on time.
• This candidate is business customer and vendor facing, and must have good interpersonal and business writing skills.
• Banking experience or understanding of Banking systems a plus.
• Training will be provided in Bank Systems required for infrastructure fulfillment. The successful candidate should have experience in the following:

Responsibilities:

• Configures and maintains the set of tools and services that provide Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) services and validates access control mechanisms for the Software and Infrastructure Engineering team throughout the software development lifecycle
• Reviews the configuration of applications servers to confirm that CI/CD service platform onboarding pre-requisites are available and configured properly
• Monitors and responds to alerts based on the key performance indicators (KPI) for the services supporting CI/CD and escalated events and issues from DevOps Engineers, creating issues and action-plan summaries for stakeholders
• Mentors and clarifies issues and practices for DevOps Engineers
• Works with Infrastructure, Solutions Engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers to understand changes in CI/CD service platform components and behaviors and planned changes in monitoring and alerting capabilities
• Responds to risk or audit identified issues with access control processed designed for compliance with firm separation of duties practices, and software release management standards and policies
• Executes change tickets for CI/CD service onboarding and decommissioning using approved change management processes as scheduled by Software or Infrastructure Engineers

Required Qualifications:

• Will require evenings and weekend work for deployments
• Strong IT Infrastructure knowledge (compute, storage, networking (LAN/WAN/Internet), security, cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS))
• Experience with RDBMS systems like Oracle, SQL, and Middleware technologies like WebSphere, JBoss, MQ, IIB, Mulesoft etc
• Strong understanding of Linux/Windows systems Strong understanding of Public cloud technologies (Azure & AWS)
•  Strong understanding of VMware
• Strong CICD and DevOps experience including use of Ansible, YAML, Artifactory, Jenkins Git,
• Excellent Written Communication Microsoft Visio

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$107,000.00 - $148,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
