Description
Warehouse Lead – Sending Fulfillment Center (SFC)
Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 5:45 AM–2:30 PM | $21/hour + Sign-On Bonus
Build the team. Keep things moving. Make an impact.
Sendoso is looking for a Warehouse Lead to help lead our Phoenix Sending Fulfillment Center (SFC).
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the warehouse floor, working alongside a team, solving problems in real time, and making sure the operation runs safely, accurately, and efficiently.
You won't spend your day sitting behind a desk. You'll be right in the middle of the action—helping organize the team, removing roadblocks, coaching associates, maintaining inventory accuracy, and partnering with the Area Manager to keep the operation moving.
If you're currently a Warehouse Lead, Team Lead, Senior Warehouse Associate, Shift Lead, Operations Lead, or experienced warehouse associate ready to take the next step, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Lead the Floor
Start the day by helping prepare the team and organize priorities.
Lead daily shift huddles and communicate production goals, priorities, and important updates.
Assign work and help balance staffing based on business needs.
Jump in and work alongside the team when needed to keep orders moving.
Serve as a go-to resource for associates throughout the shift.
Coach & Develop the Team
Train new and existing associates on processes, procedures, and safety expectations.
Provide real-time coaching and feedback.
Help associates understand performance expectations and identify opportunities to improve.
Address day-to-day employee concerns and partner with the Area Manager when additional support is needed.
Help create a positive, respectful, and accountable team environment.
Keep Operations Accurate & On Track
Support receiving, staging, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
Monitor workflow and help identify bottlenecks before they impact production.
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits, FIFO practices, and proper system transactions.
Use scanners and the WMS to track inventory and operational activity.
Help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
Make Safety a Priority
Lead by example when it comes to safe work practices.
Identify and address potential safety hazards.
Reinforce proper equipment and material-handling procedures.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Support a culture where team members feel comfortable speaking up about safety concerns.
Improve How We Work
Look for ways to make processes safer, faster, and more efficient.
Identify recurring problems and help develop practical solutions.
Use continuous improvement and Lean principles to improve workflow and reduce errors.
Bring ideas from the floor to the Area Manager and help put improvements into practice.
What We're Looking For
You don't need a college degree or a perfect resume. We care about how you lead, how you solve problems, and how you show up for your team.
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous warehouse, fulfillment, manufacturing, distribution, or operations experience.
Has experience leading, training, mentoring, or coordinating other employees.
Is comfortable giving direction and holding people accountable to expectations.
Can handle employee conflicts and challenging conversations professionally.
Is dependable, organized, and comfortable making decisions on the warehouse floor.
Has strong attention to detail and understands the importance of inventory and order accuracy.
Can use computers, scanners, and warehouse management systems.
Communicates clearly and works well with different personalities.
Enjoys a fast-paced, physically active work environment.
Is comfortable learning new processes, systems, and technology.
Brings a positive, solutions-oriented attitude and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and help.
You'll Need
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to arrive approximately 15 minutes before the shift to help prepare the floor.
Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the shift.
Ability to work Monday–Friday, 5:45 AM–2:30 PM. Schedule may vary based on business needs.
