For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- 6 years of experience as an Application Support Engineer
- Demonstrated expertise in Linux environments, with working knowledge of Windows Server as an additional asset for cross-platform project delivery.
- Proficiency in shell and Python scripting to automate operational tasks and support project engineering workflows.
- General knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, ELK),
- Solid understanding of security practices covering SSL certificates, reverse proxy configuration, and load balancing to ensure reliable and secure infrastructure.
- General knowledge of job scheduling tools, specifically Control-M and VTOM, to support batch processing and workload automation requirements.
- Working knowledge of deployment and versioning tools — including Git, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, OpenShift, and Docker — to support CI/CD pipelines and containerized delivery.
- Fluency in English (B2)
- Availability for Hybrid model, 2 times a week based in Porto
- Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
