About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Support Services Administration Officer to join our property team and play a crucial role in supporting The Salvation Army’s diverse initiatives nationwide. This is a Permanent Full time role (38 Hours/ week), Location – Redfern, NSW.
Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this role is to provide accurate, timely and efficient administrative and financial support to the Property Sales and Leasing team. The position is responsible for maintaining property and supplier records, processing property-related payments, coordinating utility and service account administration, supporting stakeholder enquiries and ensuring property administration activities are completed in accordance with organisational policies, procedures and compliance requirements across The Salvation Army's national property portfolio.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Respond to administrative enquiries and provide timely support to internal stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer service.
Establish new suppliers within approved systems and manage supplier information
Payment of operational invoices and lease liabilities alongside management of Strata records
Review and maintain the accuracy and integrity of property and financial data across relevant systems.
Monitor and manage shared email inboxes
Liaise with Energy account connections and disconnections teams
Support the team by sourcing payment related financial data
Liaise with internal stakeholders, agents, councils, water authorities & energy providers
Manage bookings and administration of an internally used apartment
Maintain accurate transaction records and supporting documentation
Ensure compliance with TSA policies, procedures and relevant legislation
Education and Qualifications Required:
Demonstrated experience in property transaction administration, property operations, or a similar administrative role.
Sound understanding of financial administration processes, invoice management, and payment workflows.
Proficiency in property management, financial, and administration systems.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workloads.
Soft Skills
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements of the role:
National Police Check
Valid Drivers license
