As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in our operations.

Responsibilities

As a Production Manager, you will:

 

• Oversee production processes including lairage, abattoir, quartering, de-boning, trimming, processing, packing, storage, and distribution of meat products.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety standards.
• Develop and implement strategic resource plans to optimise efficiency and meet customer expectations.
• Lead and motivate a team to achieve optimal yield, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

The Candidate:

 

To be considered for the Production Manager role, you should have:

 

• Proven experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, preferably in meat processing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement principles.
• Understanding of food safety, quality standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Leadership and people management skills to inspire and motivate teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset.
