Summary
As a Brand Ambassador, you will serve as the frontline representative of the brand within dispensaries; driving consumer awareness, supporting sell-through, and strengthening relationships at the store level. This field-based role is responsible for executing in-store activations, educating budtenders and consumers, and providing real-time market insights to the sales team.
The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, with a strong ability to influence purchase decisions and elevate brand presence in market.
Duties and Responsibilities
In-Store Activation & Execution
- Identify and secure in-store demo and event opportunities in partnership with dispensary partners and the sales team
- Plan and execute engaging, compliant in-store activations that drive consumer trial and brand awareness
- Ensure strong in-store presence and visibility aligned with brand standards
Consumer Engagement & Education
- Represent the brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and product expertise
- Educate consumers on product benefits, usage, and brand positioning to influence purchasing decisions
- Create memorable, high-quality interactions that build brand loyalty
Budtender Relationship Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with budtenders and dispensary staff
- Provide ongoing product education, samples (where applicable), and support to drive recommendation and sell-through
- Act as a trusted resource for product knowledge and brand updates
Sales Support & Market Feedback
- Partner closely with Account Managers and sales leadership to support account priorities and initiatives
- Capture and report on event performance, consumer feedback, and market insights
- Identify opportunities and challenges in market, providing actionable feedback to improve sales execution
Brand Representation & Compliance
- Maintain a polished, professional, and compliant presence in all interactions
- Ensure all activations and engagements align with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Uphold brand values and standards across all touchpoints
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs
Qualifications

- 1-3 years experience in brand ambassadorship, field marketing, or retail sales (cannabis industry preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for cannabis culture and education.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Must meet all legal requirements to work in the cannabis industry in your state.
- Basic PC / Microsoft Office application skills are required; experience in Microsoft office, data analysis, Google Apps, and Salesforce or other CRM software is a plus
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written
- Requires daily travel across territory – must have reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- Must be flexible - working Tuesday – Saturday, and occasionally evenings and Sundays
- Must meet all legal requirements to work in the cannabis industry in your state.
- Active state-issued driver's license and maintained clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle to utilize for marketing events (Mileage reimbursement is covered at federal rate)
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written
- Hours are likely to vary based on needs of the business
- Must obtain state-required permits, licenses, and certifications
- ServSafe Food Handler’s Card preferred
- Willing to submit to a background check, including a motor vehicle report
- State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older
Benefits
As a exempt employee, you'll receive a competitive salary of $70,000/yr + bonus potential, 11 paid holidays, 120 hours of PTO, 401K, 16 hours of VTO, and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
