Description

An exciting opportunity to join Manulife Singapore's Corporate Strategy team in a high-impact role focused on accelerating our High Net Worth (HNW) growth ambitions.

As a market leader in the HNW segment, Manulife Singapore continues to strengthen its position by developing new revenue opportunities, expanding and enhancing HNW propositions, and driving greater performance across our distribution channels. This role plays a critical part in translating strategic priorities into measurable commercial outcomes.

Working closely with the Corporate Strategy Director and Chief Strategy Officer, you will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution. You will help shape the HNW growth agenda while partnering across the business to turn ideas into action. This is not a traditional strategy role focused solely on planning and analysis. It is a hands-on, commercially focused opportunity to drive growth, unlock value, and strengthen Manulife's competitive advantage in one of our most important business segments.

This role offers significant visibility, stakeholder exposure, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future growth of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new HNW growth opportunities by identifying, evaluating and supporting the commercialization of new propositions, client segments, business models, and strategic partnerships.
  • Translate HNW propositions into market-ready solutions by collaborating with Product, Distribution, Operations, and Marketing teams to drive successful implementation and adoption.
  • Partner with Agency, Bancassurance, and other distribution channels to enhance HNW productivity, deepen client penetration, and improve the quality and scale of client engagement.
  • Support the development and execution of Manulife Singapore's HNW growth strategy, ensuring initiatives are aligned to clear commercial objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive value realization by monitoring performance against business cases, identifying opportunities for optimization, and challenging initiatives that are not delivering expected results.
  • Lead and support strategic initiatives across the HNW portfolio, helping to drive innovation, business transformation, and sustainable growth.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective alignment, collaboration, and execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience in strategy, insurance, financial services, consulting, or a related field.
  • Experience working within the High Net Worth segment, wealth management, private banking, insurance, or broader financial services industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities and translate strategy into tangible business results.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of driving execution and delivering measurable outcomes in complex environments.
  • Strong process and project management capabilities, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight timelines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, supported by a structured and data-driven approach.
  • Ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive risk management mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop practical solutions.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change, with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

When you join our team:

  • We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.
  • We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.
  • As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.
