The Human Resources Development Program is a two‑year rotational experience designed to accelerate development through hands‑on assignments, training, and exposure.

Program Overview:
Human Resources (HR) at Wells Fargo is a centralized function that is aligned with and supports the company, lines of business, and enterprise functions. The HR organization is responsible for building and implementing strategies, programs, and infrastructure to identify, develop, and retain top talent for the company. To achieve these goals, the organization spans across a wide range of areas, including but not limited to: Total Rewards, Employee Relations, HR Operations & Service Delivery, Talent Acquisition, Transformation & Product, and Talent Management & Learning.
As part of our commitment to developing future HR leaders, the Human Resources Development Program offers a structured, rotational experience focused on building business acumen, technical HR expertise, and leadership capability. Participants begin the program with an immersive induction and training experience, followed by multiple rotational assignments across HR functions. Throughout the program, analysts receive dedicated program support, mentorship, access to senior leaders, and ongoing professional development to help shape their career path. #earlycareers
To ensure a well-rounded experience, the Human Resources Development Program will consist of rotations anchored in the following core competencies with an emphasis on critical thinking and technical skill development:

Execution & Delivery
Process Management

Solutions Design & Development
In this program you will:
Conduct research, analyze data, and present insights & recommendations to peers, managers, and senior leadership
Partner with line-of-business and HR stakeholders on strategy, planning, and project management
Contribute to human capital initiatives across the enterprise to enhance processes, identify best practices, and drive continuous improvement
Engage with experienced professionals dedicated to equity & inclusion and provide opportunities for talented, diverse individuals
Build a strong professional network through mentorship, sponsorship, and engagement with senior leadership
Participate in formal training and experiential learning to deepen HR expertise, technical capability, and business knowledge
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree candidate with an expected graduation between December 2026 – June 2027
Familiarity with AI‑powered productivity tools (such as chat‑based assistants and built‑in features like Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday tasks including research, organizing information, and creating presentations with a strong interest in learning and using these tools responsibly
Strong critical thinking and data analysis skills, with the ability to generate insights, learn quickly, adapt to change, and support innovative HR solutions
Ability to execute with urgency, apply strong attention to detail, support reporting, project management, and solution delivery, and drive operational excellence with an enterprise mindset
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build stakeholder relationships, foster an inclusive environment, and actively seek and apply feedback
Strong business acumen and service orientation, with the ability to understand HR needs and support solutions that deliver a positive employee and business impact
Ability to act with integrity, apply HR policies and compliance requirements, and support effective risk controls to maintain well-managed and compliant HR operations
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the fields of Human Resources Management, Business, Finance, Organizational Psychology, or Analytics. All majors are welcome
Successful completion of 2026 Human Resources Internship Program.
Program Duration: Two years, beginning in August 2027. Upon successful completion, high‑performing analysts may be considered for placement into roles within Wells Fargo Human Resources
Program Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Range: $34.62 - $34.62/hr.
