Clayton Homes is seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and organized Recycle Coordinator to join our manufacturing team in Waycross, Georgia. This position plays a key role in supporting our sustainability efforts by managing recycling operations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring recyclable materials are collected, sorted, and processed efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and transport recyclable materials throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manage recycling containers and ensure timely removal of recyclable materials.
- Maintain recycling areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Monitor waste streams and identify opportunities to improve recycling efficiency.
- Coordinate pickups with recycling vendors and assist with inventory tracking.
- Complete required documentation and reports related to recycling operations.
- Support plant housekeeping initiatives and environmental compliance efforts.
- Assist with general facility cleanup and special projects as assigned.
- Follow all company safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, recycling, or material handling preferred.
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer and recordkeeping skills preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Commitment to workplace safety and environmental responsibility.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
- Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Ability to safely operate equipment and perform manual labor as needed.
