Description
We are seeking a dedicated, highly motivated and experienced Facilities 24/7 Operations Manager to lead the reconstructing of our 24/7 operation Teams. To develop a strong, reliable, and efficient facilities team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of 24/7 facilities operations, ensure safety and compliance, optimize workflows, and foster a proactive team environment.
This role is responsible for ensuring all building systems operate efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will provide leadership to 24/7 operations and maintenance teams, oversee critical infrastructure, coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance programs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support organizational objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and reconstruct a high-performing facilities operations team capable of 24/7 support
- Provide support to the team during after-hours for 24/7 anomalies and incidents
- Provide Upper Management and Customer with continues communication on site and remote site status, anomalies, repairs
- Establish clear operational procedures, safety protocols, and service standards
- Oversee daily operations including maintenance, security, safety, and emergency response.
- Review, update and dispense, MOPs, ERPs and SOPs with teams to ensure communication channels are current and understood.
- Schedule and coordinate shift coverage to ensure continuous 24/7 operations.
- Assist with Implementing training programs to enhance team skills and safety awareness.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements.
- Respond promptly to operational incidents, emergencies, and maintenance issues.
- Foster a culture of reliability, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Observe performance, attendance, and skill levels. Make corrections as needed, address performance issue when noticed.
- Provide assistances to team member with corporate issue time cards, training, pay issues, etc
- Oversee maintenance and repair activities for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, security, and other critical building systems.
- Monitor critical infrastructure systems and respond promptly to equipment issues or emergencies.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life cycles.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage departmental budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving and operational efficiency opportunities.
- Conduct routine facility inspections and audits to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Lead emergency preparedness, response planning, and safety initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, compliance records, and operational metrics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments and external vendors to support business operations.
- Drive facility performance optimization initiatives, including energy efficiency and sustainability efforts.
- Participate in on-call rotation to support emergency response needs.
Basic Qualifications
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph prior to starting with Leidos
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
- 8 years of relevant experience minimum.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading 24x7 critical operations around data center environments to including facilities operations and maintenance management.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing maintenance teams.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems.
- In-depth understanding of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize operational costs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant technical licenses (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or similar professional certification.
- Master Electrician, HVAC, or plumbing licensure.

Pay Range:
