Graduate Registered Nurse Program - February 2027 | UnitingCare Students ONLY
We are inviting expressions of interest from nursing students who have completed or are currently undertaking a clinical placement with a UnitingCare hospital.
This application pathway has been established specifically for our student cohort and is not intended for external applicants who have not undertaken placement within a UnitingCare service. External applications will open from 21 September for all other applicants.
Employment Status: Permanent part time position offering 32 hours per week
Remuneration: $42.50 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances
Commencement Date: 1 February 2027
Your part in UnitingCare Hospitals team:
Over the course of our 12-month program (permanent role), you can expect to be exposed to varied and exciting clinical work. You will be provided the support and opportunity to consolidate your Nursing skills and learning, to deliver safe and holistic person-centred care, apply best clinical practice and ensure a safe environment for our patients. Working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, you will apply your exceptional communication and customer service skills.

To be eligible to apply, you will need:
To have completed your Bachelor of Nursing between January 2026 to February 2027
To hold registration with AHPRA by 1 February 2027
and be able to commence the program on 1 February 2027
Flexibility to work a full rotating roster (in a part-time 0.8 FTE position)
Unlimited working rights in Australia (please note, we are unable to provide sponsorship)
Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as other probity checks required by legislation or company policy
