Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Escalation Desk in Southlake, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor alarm activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, maintain clear communication with site personnel, and document events using computer-based systems. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive calls for service, document incidents, and coordinate the appropriate response with onsite personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating timely information to relevant personnel.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, access activity, and other security-related systems; maintain accurate logs, reports, and dispatch records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
