Senior Legal Counsel - UAE
Our client is a global technology company of 1.5k employees, providing cloud-based software solutions to the telecommunications industry, with customers across international markets. As the business continues to expand across the GCC and Middle East, they are looking to establish a stronger legal presence in the UAE.
They are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to take ownership of the company’s commercial contracting activities in the region.
The role will focus heavily on drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex technology and commercial agreements, working closely with sales, procurement and senior business stakeholders. This will include MSAs, SaaS/software agreements, SOWs, licensing, professional services and other customer and partner contracts.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong in-house commercial/technology contracts experience
- Experience working within telecoms, BSS/OSS, software, SaaS or technology
- Proven experience negotiating complex B2B customer contracts
- Exposure to GCC/MENA markets
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to work independently with senior stakeholders
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
