 Job Summary: 

Seeking an experienced MCP Server Developer with 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server development and be proficient in migrating Java APIs to Agentic Services. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side components, ensuring smooth transitions during migration activities, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. 

 Responsibilities:    

• Design, develop, and maintain MCP server applications and services. 

• Lead and execute migration projects from existing Java APIs to Agentic Services. 

• Analyze existing Java API implementations and develop efficient Agentic Service alternatives. 

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and product teams to deliver scalable and robust solutions. 

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices. 

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize server-side components for performance and reliability. 

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. 

• Ensure security, compliance, and quality assurance for developed services. 

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members. 

Mandatory skill sets:    

• 6 to 9 years of professional experience in server-side development. 

• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) server development. 

• Strong Computer Science foundation (Strong object-oriented concept in Java script). 

• Strong Computer Science foundation (data structures, algorithms, databases) 

• Strong knowledge of  APIs is a must 

• Strong Proficiency in Spring Framework 

• Strong Proficiency in Micro Service Architecture 

• Design and build scalable cloud-native solutions leveraging platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) 

• Hands-on experience migrating Java APIs to Agentic Services or similar service-oriented architectures. 

• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture. 

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. 

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 

 

Preferred skill sets:     

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). 

• Knowledge of security best practices in API development and migration.
