Sr. Business Transformation Specialist

Broadridge is seeking an experienced, execution-oriented Sr. Business Transformation Specialist to join the US Proxy Business Transformation & Special Projects team.  This role combines hands-on business transformation, process improvement, analysis, and implementation responsibilities with strong project management discipline. The Sr. Business Transformation Specialist will independently lead cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation while helping assess business processes, define solutions, and drive broader transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will have significant experience leading projects end-to-end and will be comfortable taking a business objective or problem, creating the structure and plan needed to address it, organizing stakeholders, managing risks and dependencies, and driving execution with limited day-to-day direction. Projects may range from targeted operational improvements to larger, multi-workstream initiatives involving Business, Operations, Technology, Product, Risk, clients, vendors, and other enterprise stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Business Transformation & Analysis

• Analyze current-state business processes, workflows, systems, controls, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to identify pain points, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support the design of practical future-state processes and solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, controls, and client experience.
• Identify opportunities for standardization, simplification, automation, and workflow redesign.
• Gather and document business requirements and identify gaps, dependencies, or unresolved questions.
• Conduct analysis to support impact assessments, business cases, implementation strategies, and decision-making.

Governance, Risk & Stakeholder Management

• Develop and maintain project plans, milestone trackers, action and decision logs, risk and issue registers, and other key project materials.
• Track progress against timelines and proactively address risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, and resource constraints.
• Escalate matters appropriately with clear context, business impact, options, and recommended next steps.
• Coordinate execution across cross-functional stakeholders and maintain momentum in a matrixed organization.
• Facilitate effective working sessions that result in clear decisions, ownership, actions, and next steps.
• Prepare concise project updates and executive-ready materials that accurately communicate project health, progress, risks, and decisions required.

Implementation & Change Readiness

• Lead or coordinate implementation and readiness activities across impacted teams.
• Coordinate requirements, testing, process changes, operational readiness, communications, training, and deployment activities as applicable.
• Develop implementation plans, readiness criteria, and go-live approaches where established processes do not yet exist.
• Drive resolution of implementation risks and dependencies and support post-launch stabilization and transition to ongoing business ownership.

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Independently lead multiple cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization.
• Translate business objectives into structured project plans with clear scope, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, owners, and timelines.
• Establish the appropriate governance, working cadence, and project structure based on the needs and complexity of the initiative.
• Proactively drive execution, maintain accountability, and identify next steps without requiring significant day-to-day direction.
• Bring structure to ambiguous or evolving initiatives where requirements, responsibilities, or execution paths may not initially be clear.

Build Transformation & Project Management Capabilities

• Partner with the head of the Business Transformation & Special Projects team to help build and mature the operating framework.
• Help establish practical, scalable project management and transformation standards for initiatives of varying size and complexity.
• Develop and refine templates, tools, and repeatable approaches for project intake, scoping, planning, governance, status reporting, risk management, requirements, process documentation, implementation readiness, and project closeout.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate project tracking and reporting.
• Apply lessons learned from active initiatives to continuously improve team practices.

Business Knowledge & Continuous Improvement

• Develop a strong working understanding of US Proxy, Corporate Actions, and related operational processes, technology workflows, systems, and controls.
• Build sufficient business knowledge to understand the broader context and implications of assigned initiatives.
• Apply project experience and business knowledge to identify improvement opportunities beyond the immediate project or assignment.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on complex project management experience, including independently leading projects from initiation through implementation and completion.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects with limited established structure and determine the approach needed to drive successful execution.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Business, Operations, Technology, Product, or other enterprise stakeholders.
• Strong experience managing project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, actions, and status reporting.
• Experience with business process analysis, requirements gathering, process improvement, transformation, or implementation activities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders, and drive execution in a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and proactively identify next steps.
• Experience within financial services strongly preferred.
• Exposure to Proxy, Corporate Actions, custody, issuer services, securities processing, or related environments preferred.

Preferred Skills

• PMP or comparable project management certification preferred but not required.
• Experience developing or improving project management standards, templates, or governance practices.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and experience with project management tools.
• Experience with process mapping, current-state/future-state analysis, requirements gathering, testing, and implementation planning.
• Exposure to automation, workflow modernization, or technology-enabled process improvement.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $115,000- 125,000 USD.  Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, location, skills, international locations and education.
