ASSOCIATE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Description

Join the Albuquerque Journal and Albuquerque Publishing Company as an Associate Account Executive and build your career in media sales while helping local businesses reach their customers. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop sales and client relationship skills while learning from experienced advertising leaders and Senior Account Executives.

You’ll work with businesses to understand their marketing goals, recommend effective print and digital advertising solutions, and build lasting client relationships. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience, you’ll develop the skills needed to grow within a fast-paced, evolving media industry.

What You’ll Do

• Build Your Client Base: Prospect for new business, connect with local businesses, and develop strong, long-term client relationships.
• Create Advertising Solutions: Learn about clients’ goals and recommend customized print and digital solutions, including display advertising, inserts, digital campaigns, and native content.
• Manage the Sales Process: Develop proposals, coordinate campaigns, and work with internal teams to ensure advertisements move smoothly from sale to publication.
• Learn & Collaborate: Work alongside Advertising Directors, Senior Account Executives, design, and digital teams while participating in ongoing training and mentorship.
• Grow Revenue: Work toward monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals while identifying opportunities for repeat business, client retention, and upselling.
• Track & Analyze Results: Maintain accurate sales and client records, monitor campaign performance, and use data to help clients improve their advertising results.
