We are searching for the best talent for Clinical Support Specialist Orthopaedics (50% Joint Reconstruction / 50% Sports Medicine) - Ticino area.

 

Purpose: For our orthopaedics business, we are seeking a strong, customer‑focused and communicative personality to join us as a Sales Consultant, starting immediately or by agreement. As a proven specialist with a strong sales mindset, you will serve as the key point of contact for orthopaedic surgeons, OR managers, and operating room staff in hospitals and clinics. In this central role, you will coordinate, organize, and ensure the correct application of our high‑quality, innovative products. You will proactively identify new business opportunities, drive their execution, and manage corresponding sales projects within your assigned territory.

 

You will be responsible for:

• Advising your clients before, during and after procedures in the orthopaedics clinic (joint reconstruction & sports medicine).
• Logistical coordination of interventions.
• Deliver product demonstrations, customer training, workshops and in-service education for healthcare professionals.
• Build long-term customer relationships with physicians, operating room staff, and other decision-makers.
• Optimize inventory management and increase logistical efficiency

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Several years of experience in the medical and surgical environment.
• Solid and comprehensive knowledge of surgery and orthopaedics.
• High flexibility and willingness to travel in your region.
• Fluent in Italian (mandatory), proficiency in English needed.
• Sound MS Office skills.

 

Preferred:

• Completed training as a technical or surgical specialist (scrub nurse) not a must but an advantage.
• German knowledge.

 

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
